MOUNT CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH
On a mission to educate and encourage the young members of the church, and those in the community, to embrace their faith and stay active in their spiritual lives. Our programs, activites and events are designed to build confidence and spark enthusiasm for God's word and works!
Youth Programs
CHOSEN GENERATION (Youth Choir)
Praise the Lord through spiritual song with a youthful twist, using contemporary and urban styles. Children and members up to age 18 are welcome to join.
YOUTH USHERS
Young members of the church fulfill their duties as doorkeepers to the sanctuary on Youth Sundays and during selected events.
YOUTH BIBLE STUDY
Young members attend Bible Study sessions focused on topics which they relate to. Held on Wednesday evenings and lead by desognated Youth Leaders.

NAACP YOUTH MEETINGS

Youth Sundays 3rd & 5th Sundays are designated "Youth Sundays" in which young members of the church assist with various parts of the worship experience. During these services a capable young member directs the order of service as worship leader, Chosen Generation serves as the ministry in music, and The Youth Usher Board serves as doorkeepers.
​Children's Church Children up to age 10 attend a worship service in Fellowship Hall. This worship service is designed especially for them, and is held during morning service on 2nd & 4th Sundays.
​Youth Retreats These trips are designed for youth worship, fellowship and spiritual workshops. Held annually for young members of the church and community to attend.

All youth programs, activities, and events are organized and incorporated to support the purpose of the Youth Ministry. Because every division works together for the greater purpose of the ministry, joining any of these groups or activities is a great way to get involved with other youth and stay connected to your faith!
