It'll Be Worth The Wait

This week Minister Huzzy spoke about waiting. His scripture reference was PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7*, and he began by exclaiming, "Do not be anxious for anything! He may not come when you want Him to, but He's always on time."
Synopsis: Waiting can get to you sometimes, but find comfort in his word*. Don't let anything consume you with worry so much, that you become overwhelmed to the point where you cannot even function.
So what do we do while we wait?
1) PRAY. Ask God for strength to keep you, and power to persevere - but pray first with thanksgiving because when we ask first for what we want we run the risk of forgetting what we already have.
2) CHANGE your perspective on waiting. Don't look at waiting as wasted time. Here's why:
Waiting provides an opportunity to prepare for what's coming, and you want to be prepared to recieve your blessing.
Waiting keeps us humble - in waiting we are reminded that God is almighty, and He does not work according to our schedules.
Waiting helps us develop a deeper appreciation of what we are waiting for.
Remeber that no matter what you are waiting for God knows when you will be ready to recieve it.
